Job description

Responsible for driving traffic and high ROI online and store sales via all known forms of performance, digital marketing. Primarily focusing on SEM, PLA, SEO, Retargeting, Paid Social, Local Digital Marketing, Content Marketing and Affiliate Marketing across all form factors and popular device types (Desktop, Tablet, Mobile and Apps). He/She will play the lead role in building the brands strategic relationships with the likes of Google, Facebook, and Apple. They will also lead our domestic online marketing activities, provide thought leadership to their global counterparts and work across the organization to develop omni-channel digital marketing initiatives that deliver results, solve challenges or take advantage of new opportunities. The Head of Digital Marketing will manage the long term digital marketing roadmap, is responsible for planning the top priority initiatives, and for ensuring alignment across the brand and business goals each season.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Develop action plans for achieving and measuring campaign success, including determining key metrics
  • Synchronization of all marketing activities across programs and channels
  • Ensuring support for key product seasons and launches
  • Integration of digital within the overall marketing strategy
  • Development of initiatives and programs to drive traffic and revenue across Stores, Online, Mobile, App, & Social
  • Creation and execution of the annual digital marketing budget
  • Develop and drive our online search effectiveness, on-site content enrichment, SEO improvement, to deliver overall visitor growth
  • Partner with the analytics and CRM team to define an attribution and media optimization strategy that drives acquisition, retention and engagement
  • Manage a team of marketers that conduct all search buys and affiliate partnerships
  • Manage investment and partnerships to profitably maximize traffic and revenue
  • Ensure our digital marketing strategy is optimized to support for every channel (Stores, online, mobile, app, social)
  • Evolve the digital marketing strategy to include more automated scenarios such as real-time bidding
  • Leverage customer insights, strategic business case analysis, competitor intelligence, market trends, strategic relationships with key industry partners and a deep understanding of emerging technologies to optimize program performance
  • All other projects and responsibilities as assigned

QUALIFICATIONS & EXPERIENCE:

  • Bachelors degree in Marketing, Business Administration or related field
  • Advanced degree (MBA or relevant Masters degree) or equivalent experience
  • 10+ years progressive experience in digital marketing including +3 years of experience in search required
  • Experience in a fast paced multi-channel retail environment preferred
  • Experience working with writers, developers, and content development from an SEO/SEM perspective
  • Strong background in Digital analytics including Google analytics and Adobe/Omniture tools
  • High degree of proficiency MS Office Suite, Outlook & Internet applications
  • Strong analytical, prioritizing, interpersonal, problem-solving, presentation, budgeting, project management (from conception to completion), & planning skills
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills
  • Demonstrated collaborative skills and ability to work well within a team
  • Ability to work with and influence peers and senior management
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced and deadline-oriented environment
  • Self-motivated with critical attention to detail, deadlines and reporting
